How often should I clean my humidifier?

For optimal performance of your NR MAX humidifier, a weekly cleaning routine is advised. It's important to exercise caution when handling the mist maker engine during cleaning, as it is particularly susceptible to damage.

What is the recommended method for storing my humidifier once winter has ended?

To store your humidifier properly after the winter season, ensure that it is completely dry to prevent mold and bacteria growth. Empty the water tank, clean all components according to the manufacturer's instructions, and allow everything to air dry thoroughly. Once dry, pack the humidifier in its original packaging or a cotton bag to protect it from dust. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight until you need it again.

What is the difference between NR07 Series, NR08 Series, NR MAX, and MH7000 Humidifiers?

The NR07, NR08, and NR MAX models are designed for tabletop use, performing best when elevated on a stable platform. The MH7000 stands out as the sole floor-standing model in the lineup and is the only model that features a UV light for sanitization. Additionally, the MH7000 is unique in that it is dishwasher safe, although manual cleaning is recommended for the mist maker engine to preserve its integrity.

What is the warranty on Miro humidifiers?

All electronic parts (including mist maker engine) come with 6 month limited warranty while other parts come with 12-month limited warranty.

What is a mist maker engine?

In traditional ultrasonic humidifiers, the mist maker engine is typically integrated with the device's electrical components, making it difficult to access and clean. Miro has reengineered this crucial part, externalizing it for easy and frequent maintenance. Commonly, this component in standard humidifiers can accumulate grime within just 48 hours of use, a fact often overlooked by users due to its hidden position. Our commitment to providing the cleanest possible humidifying experience led us to design this detachable feature.

In contrast to other brands, where the mist maker can become soiled within two days and may cease functioning after two years, necessitating the purchase of an entirely new unit, Miro's design allows for simple cleaning and, if needed, straightforward replacement of just the mist maker engine. This not only minimizes waste but is also more economical over the long term. With daily use, we anticipate the mist maker engine will last approximately one year. For those periods when the humidifier is not in use, we advise ensuring that each part is fully dried before storage to prevent any damage or staining.

What does the shipping charge include?

Shipping costs are subject to variation due to the dynamic rates provided by carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. These rates are influenced by several factors including fuel prices, delivery distance, package dimensions and weight, and the speed of delivery service chosen. Home appliances typically incur higher shipping fees because of their larger size, increased weight, and the need for careful handling to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Additional services such as tracking, insurance, and secure packaging further contribute to the cost. We strive to find the balance between affordability and ensuring that your products are delivered safely and promptly. Our shipping charges are a reflection of these incurred expenses, and we continuously work to negotiate the best rates to keep these costs reasonable for our customers.

How does the returning process look?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

In order to qualify for a return, the product you wish to return must be in an identical condition to when you received it - not worn or used, still tagged, and within its initial packaging. It is crucial that you retain and provide your receipt or a valid proof of purchase. Please note that you are responsible for obtaining your own return labels for shipping the product back to us. All returns will be subject to a10% restocking charge.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Interesting that I'm receiving an email to review a product that is still in the "Pre-shipping" stage with USPS 2 weeks later. Customer service isn't getting back to me in a timely manner regarding this order (in their initial response they said they would).

I was on the fence about buying this because of the price, however I have a very dry bedroom, even now in the summer. I wanted to get something that would really help, was easy to clean and had a self timer. The timer is amazing feature and it’s so easy to put together. Two Years and Going Strong!

I purchased my NR Max a little over 2 years ago. Before my purchase, I owned 3 humidifiers. This is the most expensive, but definitely worth the price. Cleaning is easy; Refill is easy; Compatible with Alexa; Humidity Output is excellent; Very Quiet. I can't believe how much better I sleep!

A little hiccup but it's fixed now!

When we first set up the NR MAX, it worked great and then it stopped working a few days later. We received an error that the water level was low, but there was plenty of water in there. After recleaning/resetting up a few times, we reached out to Customer Service. However, we didn't receive any correspondence. We finally reached out the Instagram account via DM and received a swift response. Miro sent us a new fan and everything has been working great since then! We love that it's so easy to clean, and the humidity sensor works great!
